The surgical Procedure

Ultimately, it is up to each woman, along surgeon, to decide what breast option will provide.

The procedure technique will be discussed here during consultation.

Harvest   –  Separate —   Activate —   Return.

1. A small amount of fat 500cc-1,000cc is taken from your waist area.

2. Stem Cells are separate from fat cells.

3. Your Stem Cells are activated with natural proteins

4. The activated Stem Cells and fat cells are returned back to your breast for natural augmentation.

Once implemented, the stem cells signal nearby blood vessels to grow toward the graft, nourishing it and helping to promote its survival.

How much of a graft will survive cannot be predicted, but we says an average graft survival rate is 65%. This makes it difficult to make large changes, however the operation can be repeated if larger breasts are desired. It can take up to three months for the true results to be clear, as the tissue volume needs time to stabilize.

Postoperative Recovery

The objective of Fat Transfer by Stem Cell is breasts that look fuller and more natural in appearance.

After surgery, pain that is easily controlled by medication usually will subside in a day or two.  If dressings have been applied, they will be replaced by a surgical bra in a few days.  Sutures will be removed within a week of surgery.  Although the surgeon has made every effort to keep scars as inconspicuous as possible, they are the inevitable result of surgery.  Minimal swelling and discoloration of the breasts will disappear rapidly.

The decision on when to return to work and normal activities depends on how fast you heal and how you fee.  To permit proper healing, you should avoid over activity and refrain from overhead lifting.
