A forehead lift surgery is to restore more youthful appearance both men and women.

Forehead lift surgery is the procedure to minimizes forehead creases, drooping eyebrows, hooding over the eyes, furrowed forehead. Preparation for Forehead Lift surgery.

  • Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical condition(s), and all medications you are 
    taking (both prescription and non-prescription). 
  • No Aspirin 2 days before surgery.
  • Stop vitamin E Oil 1 day before surgery.
  • Stop smoking 2 days and a month after surgery.
  • Tell doctor if you have any serious medical condition(s). 
  • Stop meal and water starting from midnight before surgery (if under General Anesthesia).
  • Button up shirts should be wear during recovery.

Surgical forehead lift - The forehead soft tissues will be elevated almost as in a forehead lift, along with elevating soft tissues in an area under the hairline to allow the hairline to be pulled forward. 

After forehead lift surgery, some numbness and temporary discomfort may persist around the incision for several days, but this can be controlled with pain medication. The bruising and swelling that does occur will usually subside considerably in the first week. Bandages will come off a day or two after surgery. Stitches from the surgery are removed during the 5 -7 days, though this varies from patient to patient.

Normal work can be resumed 7 days after forehead lift procedure. You should be able to shower and wash your hair 5-7 days after stitches removal. However, vigorous activity should be limited for several weeks, including jogging, bending, sex, or any activity that increases your blood pressure.

Most of the visible signs of Lower Hairline surgery should disappear within a few weeks, and minor swelling and bruising can usually be hidden. Do not worry if you feel a bit tired and let down at first, as your body heals itself and you begin to look better, you will feel better as well. Patients are usually very satisfied with their new look once their surgery site has completely healed. Patients often do not realize just how much their contributed to an older appearance until they see their new, refreshed look.
