Ear lobe repair is a procedure to correct lowest portion of the ear by surgical. Many men and women are caused by elongated earlobe holes or a split earlobe such as heavy earrings worn over long periods of time or gauges placed in the earlobe with increasing size, weight and overtimes.

Like any other cosmetic surgery, Dr.Preecha Tiewtranon MD, Dr.Sutin Khobunsongserm MD and Dr.Burin Wangjiraniran MD (Board of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery) will ask about the patient’s goal and then looking at the hole to determine the size and condition of the hole along with the anatomy of the surrounding tissue earlobe. The patient should stop to wearing earring (s) at least 8 to 12 months to leave the skin in normal condition before ear lobe repair surgery.

  • Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical condition(s), and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription).
  • No Aspirin 1 day before surgery.
  • Stop vitamin E Oil 1 day before surgery.
  • Stop smoking 2 days and a month after surgery.
  • Tell doctor if you have any serious medical condition(s).
  • Plan to be in Thailand 3 to 5 days after surgery.
  • Ice cubes or ice pack ; On the day before your Alar reduction, make sure that you have the following items stocked at home
  • Cosmetics should not be worn

An extra charged for HIV is 50% from total cost.

A: Recommend to no wear earring at least 8 to 12 months to let skins normally and then attach current earlobe images back to us for schedule the surgery. If not sure, please also attach current photo for doctors to comment.
