Customized (Custom-Made-Silicone Implant) Forehead Augmentation – suites for men and women who have flat, an uneven forehead to desire to add up voluminous forehead area.

Forehead is the most visible part of the face which is one-third of the face. There are many people who were born with smooth good looking forehead and skull. But there are some people who were born with flat, uneven shape of forehead due to various reasons.

Preparation and Trip planning.

  • Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical condition(s), and all medications you are 
    taking (both prescription and non-prescription). 
  • No Aspirin 2 days before surgery.
  • Stop vitamin E Oil 1 day before surgery.
  • Stop smoking 2 days and a month after surgery.
  • Tell doctor if you have any serious medical condition(s). 
  • Stop meal and water starting from midnight before surgery (if under GA).
  • Plan to be in Thailand at least 10 days all together.

Things should bring from home.

Forehead implants surgery is usually performed by Local Anesthesia or General Anesthesia. The incision line is made 1-2 cm behind the hairline. Through this incision, the surgeon creates space for the forehead implant and fits it over the forehead bone.

Following surgery the incision will be sutured, and the forehead will be covered by a compression bandage.

After forehead augmentation, there is some soreness and discomfort which is easily controlled by medication.  

The patient is generally up and about the same day after surgery and back to work after 3 - 5 days and normal activities within a week of surgery.

  • Apply ice compresses to your forehead for 20 minutes at a time throughout the first few days of recovery to reduce swelling and discomfort
  • Keep the head elevated for one week after surgery to reduce post-op swelling
  • Button-up shirts ready to wear during recovery to prevent irritating the scalp
  • Avoid strenuous activity for three to four weeks

The recovery time following forehead implant is about 2 - 3 weeks. A quick recovery is possible because the incisions are all made in the scalp area. Patients are allowed to go about their regular routines in a few days, which mean minimal impact on the patient's day-to-day life.

Many people go back to work within a week.

The forehead augmentation appearance will be close to the final result within one to three months after surgery and fully recovery natural result will be seen around three months after surgery when residual swelling has gone.

Most patients will be able to resume most normal daily activities after seven days of recovery. You will need to arrange someone to drive you home and take time off from work at least 5 days (desk jobs)
