Arm lift

• Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical condition(s), and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription). 
• No Aspirin 2 days before surgery.
• Stop vitamin E Oil 1 day before surgery.
• Stop smoking 2 days and a month after surgery.
• Tell the doctor if you have any serious medical condition(s). 
• Plan to be in Bangkok at least 10 days after surgery.

Things should bring from home.

• Phone charger, long phone charger
• Books, magazines
• Short sleeve button down shirts large size

The procedure is for armlift surgery incision, length and pattern depend on the amount and location of excess skin to be removed as well as the best judgment of the surgeon.

Incisions are generally placed on the inside of the arm or on the back of the arm depending on the surgeon preference and may extend from the underarm (axilla) to just above the elbow. Excess fat may be directly excised or treated with liposuction.

The underlying supportive tissue is tightened and reshaped with internal sutures. Depending on the patient's specific condition, incisions may be more limited.

Finally, the skin is smoothed over the new contour of your arm.

An extra charge is 50% from surgery fee, if HIV +.

• CD4 must be 500 +
• Viral load must undetectable

The results of arm lift surgery will be long-lasting provided that you have to maintain a stable weight and general fitness. However, as your body ages, it may natural to lose some firmness but most of your improvement should be relatively permanent.

Good results are expected. There is no guarantee in some situation. As limitation in cosmetic surgery due from armlift skin tissue, arm lift procedure may not be possible to achieve optimal results with a single surgical procedure and another surgery may be necessary.

Following instructions is also essential to the success of your surgery.

During your recovery from arm lift surgery, dressings or bandages may be applied to your incisions and your arms may be wrapped in an elastic bandage or a compression garment to minimize swelling following surgery.

A small, thin tube may be temporarily placed under the skin to drain any excess blood or fluid. Our doctors will be given specific instructions on how to care for the surgical site

• Normal work can be resumed seven to ten days after a procedure (desk job).
• You should be able to shower in two days after the bandages come off.
• Vigorous activity should be limited for several weeks including jogging or any activity that increases your blood pressure within one month surgery.

• Removing incisions 7 - 10 days after surgery
• No heavy exercise 4 weeks after surgery
• Scars are usually well hidden and normally fade in time
• Swelling and bruising can be minimized by keeping the head elevated as much as possible during the first few weeks of recovery

• Day 1 - Consultation and Prepare for Laboratory Testing
• Day 2 and 3 - Surgery and one night in hospital private room after surgery
• Day 3 - Discharge from Hospital
• Day 3 to Day 12 - Stay in hotel for recovery period and follow up on doctor appointments
• Day 12 - Stitches removal and final check up
• Day 12 - Safe to fly
