Re-Breast Augmentation

• Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical condition(s), and all medications you are
  taking (both prescription and non-prescription).
• No Aspirin 2 days before surgery.
• Stop vitamin E Oil 1 day before surgery.
• Stop smoking 2 days and a month after surgery.

• Purchase a "post-op" bra (Sport bra) to support prior after surgery, the bra may or may not have been applied.
• Tell doctor if you have any serious medical condition(s).
• Stop meal and water starting from midnight before surgery.
• Plan to be in Thailand at least 8 days after surgery.

Things should bring from home.

• Button-up shirts in large sizes
• Slip-on shoes or slippers
• Phone charger, long phone charger
• Books, magazines
• Travel neck pillow
• Two sizes sport bra (zipper front). Example, if you have breasts Cup C before surgery. You should purchase two sizes sport bra Cup C and Cup D and bring them to wear after Re breast augmentation during recovery period.

Type of incision used in breast implant revision surgery/re-mammo, re-boobs will vary depending upon the type of procedures that will be performed. The incision can include, but is not limited to, any of the following: Inframammary incision, Peri-areolar incision, either vertical incision or wise pattern incision but mostly inframammary (under breast incision).

Following post operation Re-Breast Augmentation, Re-Mammo gauze dressings or bandages maybe applied to your incisions and depend on the details of surgery. You may or may not be placed in a support bra or other type of garment. A small  thin tube may be temporarily placed under the skin to drain any excess blood or fluid that may collect.

Pain that is easily controlled by medication usually will subside in a day or two.  If dressings have been applied, they will be replaced by a surgical bra in a few days.  Sutures will be removed within a week of surgery.  Although the surgeon has made every effort to keep scars as inconspicuous as possible, they are the inevitable result of surgery.  Minimal swelling and discoloration of the breasts will disappear rapidly.

Healing process, some degree of firmness of the breasts may occur for weeks or even months following surgery.  In some instances, the surgeon may recommend a program of breast massage to promote softness.

There may be a loss of sensitivity in the nipples following the operation, but in most cases a degree of sensitivity will return. The decision on when to return to work and normal activities depends on how fast you heal and how you feel.  To permit proper healing, you should avoid over activity and refrain from overhead lifting 40 days.

Day 1 - Direct consultation, medical health check ups, preparations

Day 2 - Surgery date * required 1 night in hospital for good recovery/check out hotel, if need

Day 3 - Discharge from hospital in the afternoon and doctor visit

Day 3- Check in hotel in the afternoon 

Day 4 - Stay in hotel for recovery periods

Day 5 - Able to walk slowly or depend how fast body recovery

Day 5 to 9 - Follow up by appointments in clinic

Day 9 - Stitches removal & Instructions by appointment

Day 10 - Departure date

No heavy/carry lift for a month. Swollen/Bruise will be reduce within two-three months or how well your body be recovery.

Recovery Timeline Re-Breast Augmentation

• You are required to stay in hospital private room one night and wear a compression bandage or a special surgical support bra. If a drain is introduced during the surgery, it is removed within 24 hours or before discharge from hospital. The stitches are removed in 7 days after the surgery.
• While you are recovery in hotel, within a few days you can shower.
• Follow up by appointments and remove stitches day 7 after surgery date at Preecha Aesthetic Institute.
• All transportation services are included from package re-breast augmentation but hotels must be within driving distance or within 2 KM from PAI’s.
• You will be able to resume everyday activities after a five days but must avoid lifting objects over the head or making fast movements during the first 4–6 weeks. If you have small children who require a lot of lifting. You need to plan an additional help during the initial recovery period.

For local’s patient – You may resume to work after a few days but must avoid heavy lifting object over the head or fast movement during 4-8 weeks after surgery date. Stitches are remove day 7 after surgery date.

For international patient – Please plan to be in Bangkok at least 9 days. Stitches will remove day 7 after surgery date. After departure from Bangkok Thailand, you may resume to work within a few days but must avoid heavy lifting object over the head or fast movement during 4 weeks after surgery date.

◊ Any bruising and swelling will usually dissipate within 2–3 months after re breast augmentation.
