Hi guys,

I am 6 weeks post op now. I realized I haven’t given you an update on my healing process. Things have been developing really quick.

So, I got back at work 3 weeks post op. Things were going pretty well. I was not in pain at all. Sitting on my office chair, really comfy. I even went to the beach 4 weeks post op. Wearing a bikini feels really great.

In term of healing the bleeding stopped already by the time I left Thailand and I started walking with no limitation.

I’ve been dilating as instructed twice a day, but sometimes more than 30 minutes – up to one hour, as I spend a lot of time inserting the stents in. I have ordered 4 different sizes of dilators from internet, those ones from soul source that all the trans girls use. I m not using them all as I am expecting the bruises to go away. I’ve just managed to get in the 3rd size with minimum effort.
Dilation is not painful as expected, maybe because I don’t force things to avoid causing any harm
I did notice a small little issue that I am worried about, that would be inserting the first stent, the smallest one. Although I haven’t lost any depth yet, I’m still up to 13 cm, each time I start to dilate the stent won’t go in more than 9-10 cm. It just gets stuck there like there’s something in the way. I need to slowly push back and forward and change the position of my back and legs up to 20 minutes to reach full depth. The second and the third sizes go smoothly after that.
