Since surgery is performed through an internal incision, the patient has no visible scarring. Direct brow lift techniques involve placement of access incisions upper eyebrows. After classic brow lift surgery, it is important to keep the head elevated for several days in order to minimize postoperative swelling. Some numbness and temporary discomfort may persist around the incision for several days, but this can be controlled with pain medication.
The bruising and swelling that does occur will usually subside considerably in the first week. Bandages will come off a day or two after brow lift surgery. Stitches from the surgery are removed during the first two weeks, though this varies from patient to patient.
Normal work can be resumed 7 to 10 days after a brow lift procedure. You should be able to shower and wash your hair a few days after the bandages come off.
However, vigorous activity should be limited for several weeks, including jogging, bending, sex, or any activity that increases your blood pressure.
Most of the visible signs of brow lift surgery should disappear within a few weeks, and minor swelling and bruising can usually be hidden with makeup.

Most local patients can return to work within a few days after surgery. However, it is important to avoid heavy lifting above the head and sudden or fast movements for 4–8 weeks following the procedure.
Stitches are usually removed seven days after surgery.
We recommend that international patients plan to stay in Bangkok for at least 9 days to allow time for recovery and follow-up visits.
Stitches are removed on Day 7 after the surgery date. After returning home, you may resume work within a few days, but you should continue to avoid lifting heavy objects over your head and vigorous movements for about 4 weeks after surgery.

A: Patients can typically return to their normal daily routines about seven to ten days following the Brow Lift procedure. During recovery, the patient must keep his or her head elevated for the first few days. Medication can help with any pain or soreness. Within a week after the Brow Lift surgery, the stitches are removed.
