Surgery Schedule

• Day 1 - Consultation and Prepare for Laboratory Testing
• Day 2 - Surgery (local anesthesia - day surgery) or (general anesthesia - one night in hospital private room after surgery)
• Day 3 - Discharge from Hospital (General anesthesia)
• Day 2 (under Local Anesthesia)
• Day 3 to Day 9 - Hotel's recovery period and follow up on doctor appointments
• Day 9 - Stitches removal and final check up (seven days following surgery)
• Day 9 - Safe to fly

Pre-Operative

• Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical condition(s), and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription). 
• No Aspirin 2 days before surgery.
• Stop vitamin E Oil 1 day before surgery.
• Stop smoking 2 days and a month after surgery.
• Tell doctor if you have any serious medical condition(s). 
• Stop meal and water starting from midnight before surgery, if under general anesthesia.
• Plan to be in Thailand at least 7 days after surgery.

Tips to minimize Labia repair during recovery.

• Applying cold pad for the first 48 hours or so may be effective in reducing labia swelling. 
• Rest during early healing.
• Avoid creams may cause allergic contact dermatitis.
• Follow with our surgeon wound care instruction advice.

For local’s patient - You may resume to work after a few days but must avoid heavy lifting object over the head or fast movement during 4 weeks after surgery date. Ideally five days off work.

For international patient - Please plan to be in Bangkok at least 9 days. Stitches will remove day 5 or day 7 after surgery date. After departure from Thailand, you may resume to work within a few days but must avoid heavy lifting object over the head or fast movement during 4 weeks after surgery date.

Labiaplasty is usually performed under local anesthesia or under general anesthesia, which is typically combined with other procedures. It takes about 40-60 minutes to perform.

Do not worry if you feel a bit tired and let down at first, as your body heals itself and you begin to look better, you will feel better as well.

Patients are usually very satisfied with their new look once their surgery site has completely healed.
