Vaginectomy in other surgical term is called Closed Vagina (Female to Male surgery).
Closed vagina is a surgical procedure to removes the vaginal lining and closes the vagina for Trans Man surgery. This is typically referred to “vaginectomy”, “colpectomy”, closed vagina, vagina clouser or colpocleisis. Vaginectomy is mostly able to combined with FtM surgery such as Metoidioplasty, Hysterectomy and Ovaries removal as part of gender confirmation surgery (FtM surgery) or later after Metoidioplasty and hysterectomy & oophorectomy surgery.
